AmaranthusSummer annual grown for its broad, brightly coloured leaves. Amaranthus is best in hot climates and prefers a sunny, dry position with protection from strong winds.

Timing:

Plant late winter and spring (August to December) in temperate climates; earlier in tropical locations.

Positioning:

Full sun.

Height:

20-25cm

Planting Distance:

30-40cm

Colour:

Foliage is streaked red, orange, yellow & green.

Use:

Garden beds, borders.
