CinerariaColourful annuals with clusters of daisy-like flowers. They perform best in cool positions in filtered sunlight in the garden or in pots protected from frost and heat. Protect from aphids, leaf miner and powdery mildew. Modern varieties give a wide colour range and there are large-flowered tall types and compact dwarf types.

Timing:

Plant autumn to winter to flower in late winter and spring.

Positioning:

Shade, semi-shade.

Height:

Dwarfs: 25-30cm; tall varieties to 60cm.

Planting Distance:

20-30cm

Colour:

Blues, carmine, pinks, red, white.

Use:

Bedding massed displays, clumps in the garden, containers, indoor decoration.
