There are annual and perennial forms of Gaillardia, although perennials are usually best in a cool temperate climate. They have showy hot-toned single and double flowers in summer.
Timing:
Plant in autumn or winter to flower in summer through to winter.
Positioning:
Full sun.
Height:
45-50cm
Planting Distance:
25-30cm
Colour:
Hot tones of red, crimson, yellow and brown.
Use:
Clumps in the garden, wild gardens.
