GeraniumThe many different forms of geraniums have different growth habits, flower forms and colours and foliage colours. They are very tough perennials that thrive in both warm and cool climates, in gardens and in pots. Avoid soil that is too rich as too much nitrogen or animal manure will promote leaf growth at the expense of flowers. Prune regularly to keep plants compact and to encourage flowering.

Timing:

Plant in spring or summer for flowering all year round in temperate climates or sheltered spots. Most prolific flowering in summer.

Many shades. Reds, pinks, purples, salmon, white.

Use:

Gardens, containers,wonderful in hanging baskets and window boxes.
