MarigoldsVibrant summer flowering annuals that like frost-free warm sunny positions, regular watering and mulching. African marigolds are taller with larger flowers than French marigolds.

Timing:

Plant in spring to summer. Plant all year round in tropical locations. African marigolds will flower in 8-10 weeks, dwarf varieties in 6-8 weeks.

Full sun.

20-50cm

Planting Distance:

15-30cm

Colour:

Yellows, orange, bronzes, creams, red.

Use:

Borders, bedding, mass display, cut flowers, containers. Plant with blue flowers such as ageratum to provide a contrasting mix.
