Annual nemesia are free-flowering compact plants which produce a great variety of coloured flowers in late winter and spring. Cutting plants back as flowering ceases and giving them some fertiliser can extend their flowering period. They like a well-drained rich, organic soil.
Timing:
Plant autumn to winter to flower in late winter and spring. Will flower 8-10 weeks after planting.
Positioning:
Full sun.
Height:
30-35cm
Planting Distance:
20-30cm
Colour:
Wide range, including red, yellow, blue, pink, orange.
Use:
Bedding and borders, mass displays, as a foreground borderor in clump plantings, rockeries, containers.
