PhloxBrilliantly coloured summer flowers that should be closely planted for a mass display. They do best on rich, fertile soil and with regular applications of liquid fertiliser. Avoid overhead watering of flowers. Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering.

Timing:

Plant in spring to summer to flower in spring and summer. Will flower 6-8 weeks after planting.

Positioning:

Full sun.

Height:

Dwarf bedding varieties are 20-35cm

Planting Distance:

15-30cm depending on size.

Colour:

Vibrant pinks, reds, violets and white.

Use:

Best in massed displays.
