SchizanthusVibrant orchid-like flowers against soft, feathery foliage. Schizanthus do not like extremes of heat or cold and prefer cool, moist conditions. They do well grown in pots to be bought inside once they are in flower.

Timing:

Plant in autumn or winter for flowers in spring. Will flower 8-10 weeks after planting.

Positioning:

Semi-shade.

Height:

25-45cm

Planting Distance:

20-30cm

Colour:

Pinks, violets, white and bi-colours.

Use:

Mass displays, borders, containers. Pots or hanging baskets in ferneries or shadehouses.
