WallflowerAn old time favourite spring flowering annual grown for their cheery colour range and sweet scent. They are very hardy and do best in cool climates on fertile, well-drained soil. Tip prune plants to encourage side shoots.

Timing:

Plant in late summer to mid winter for flowers from late winter to early spring.

Positioning:

Full sun to semi-shade.

Height:

30-60cm.

Planting Distance:

30cm.

Colour:

Shades of yellow, red, bronze and brown.

Use:

Borders, clumps or drifts in the garden, cottage gardens, cut flowers.
