ZinniaWith their big range of single and double flower forms and vivid colours, zinnias are summer flowering annuals for a hot spot. They are frost tender need good drainage and shelter from strong winds.

Timing:

Plant in spring to summer after the cold weather has passed for flowers in summer.

Positioning:

Full sun.

Height:

70-80cm for tall varieties, 20-30cm for dwarf types.

Planting Distance:

15-20cm for dwarfs, 30cm for others.

Colour:

Huge range of bright colours (except blue) ñ reds, pinks, orange, yellow, white.

Use:

Mass bedding, borders, cut flowers, containers (dwarf varieties).
